In 1980s, things like fax machines, personal computers and large size mobile phones were considered to simplify running a business and develop communications, with the result being quick turnaround of information.
Technology based devices are now widely used because they are inexpensive, easier to use and convenient. Such devices have expanded way beyond business users, so that both young and old can depend on making contacts with people and majority of the people would not leave home without a mobile phone.
Now in 2012, we are too dependent on the internet and mobile technologies.
A business cannot survive without a good communication structure and developing social networks, along with the increased use of mobile phones and tablets for emails, messages and scheduling meetings, has helped everyone. On the other hand, some people believe that such a fast communication is playing a negative role in terms of violence, and frauds.
Such a way of thinking more exists in the eastern countries.
On the other hand, we cannot imagine our life without the ability to reach for a new technology to get an address, a price, or to send an email.
Due to many frauds, scams, and violent activities, some media related people say that the fast response we have become used to would vanish.
People would lose interest in Twitter, and find it difficult to communicate with someone through LinkedIn or Facebook; hence the loss of such instant communications would take the lighthearted side out-of-the-way we communicate with others.
It is always considered very depressing when some people's actions spoil the activities of many others who rely on such devices and enjoy a lot to communicate through technology in different ways like tablets, netbooks, notebooks, smartphones, androids, and laptops, etc. Some experts say that such technologies can indeed become weak in a sense that people will keep on compromising their aim by abusing their final use.
People take it for granted that different platforms which are available now will always be here with us without any hindrance.
Though, the way our technology is growing it seems a never - ending process, but still we should not take it for granted and respect what we have, and use it in a positive way.
It depends on how we welcome the ever-changing technology in a positive way, and use it to improve our lives, as it makes us successful in this modern world.
